Words with Buddies

Words With Buddies is a challenging scrabble-style word game in which you must try to score more points than your opponents. You can use the letters you’ve been dealt to create words. Try to use the special tiles on the board to double or even triple your score.

How to play Words With Buddies

In this puzzle game, you can choose to play a random match against a stranger, or play a private match with a friend. You can play rounds with 2, 3 or 4 players at a time.

Look at the letters you’ve been dealt in this word game, and see if you can use them to spell something. Each letter has a value. This is the number of points you’ll earn for using that letter.  You can also score extra points by using the special tiles:

• Blue = 2x letter score
• Green = 3x letter score
• Red = 2x word score
• Yellow = 3x word score

Watch out, because you only have a few seconds to place a word on the board. If you can’t decide what to write and wait too long, you will lose your turn to the next opponent in line.

Game Controls

• Use the mouse. Tap and drag the letter tiles to drop them on the board.
• Blank tiles can stand in for any letter of the alphabet. To play a blank tile, first select that tile. A pop-up window will appear and you can select a letter to fill in. If you do not play the tile, you can change it later by tapping the tile again and selecting another letter.
